A NEW ERA
The Goodyear Touring Car trophy was established in 2019 to give drivers the opportunity to race in Touring cars at an affordable cost. Running alongside the TCR-UK which is popular around the world, the format attracted some top drivers and produced great racing throughout the
season.
2021 will build on that platform with the all-new package for the series and bringing the Volkswagen Racing Cup and Civic Cup on board as support series will also act as a feeder series for the Touring Car Trophy.

After an impressive debut season in 2020, when he won the final round and ended the year third in the Touring Car Trophy, Irish teenager Max Hart will return to the grid in 2021 driving one of Maximum Motorsport’s recently acquired Hyundai i30N TCRs.

Goodyear Touring Car Trophy organisers are pleased to welcome Motus One, a new team to the series that will be bringing three cars to this year’s TCR UK grid.

Just days after the announcement that the Goodyear Touring Car Trophy will enter a new era in 2021, organisers are delighted to report that two new-to-the-UK cars will line up on the TCR Class grid when the season kicks off in April.
